What this test checks

This helper applies a light browser CPU workload so you can listen for a cooling-fan response and observe temperatures with a separate trusted system monitor.

How to interpret results

A gradual fan increase can show that cooling control reacts to load. Stop if temperature, noise, vibration, smell, throttling, or instability concerns you; silence may be normal for fanless or low-load systems.

Limitations

The page cannot read fan RPM or temperature on most devices, cannot validate cooling capacity, and is not a stress test. Workload and thermal response vary with browser, power mode, background tasks, and hardware.

Troubleshooting

Use a hard ventilated surface, close heavy background work, confirm vents are clear, compare plugged-in and battery power modes, and seek qualified service for grinding noise, overheating, or repeated shutdowns.
