What this test checks
This test records browser pointer movement, button presses, dragging, and wheel-style scrolling to show whether a touchpad or mouse sends consistent input events.
How to interpret results
Smooth coordinate changes and the expected click or scroll counters indicate that the browser receives those actions. Jumps, gaps, unintended clicks, or reversed scrolling should be compared with system input settings.
Limitations
Browsers expose pointer events, not raw touchpad diagnostics. Palm rejection, pressure, multi-finger gestures, firmware status, polling rate, and operating-system gestures may not be visible here.
Troubleshooting
Clean and dry the surface, remove extra pointing devices, check touchpad enable and sensitivity settings, test without a charger, update the device driver, and compare with an external mouse.
