What this test checks

This visual inspection fills the display with solid colors and a grid to help reveal pixels that stay dark, bright, or the wrong color, plus obvious uniformity and geometry problems.

How to interpret results

Inspect every area at normal viewing distance and then up close. A point that remains unchanged on several color screens may be a pixel defect; broad patches or glow may relate to viewing angle or backlight uniformity.

Limitations

Results depend on your eyesight, ambient light, panel technology, scaling, and browser color handling. The test cannot repair pixels, measure color accuracy, or provide a warranty-grade defect count.

Troubleshooting

Clean the panel gently, use the browser's full-screen mode, set native resolution, reduce reflections, compare several colors, and capture the location for a technician or warranty provider if the mark persists.
